  • 1993 LN130 no initial power

    Hi all
I have searched on the forum and although there are some posts reference power loss, none seam to fit my predicament.

My surf runs great apart from the initial pull away. Put my foot down and the revs stay at about 800 and very slowly climb to about 1800-2000 when the turbo kicks in and she accelerates ok. It's as though it is trying to pull a massive load. It's an automatic and I've just changed the trans fluid (fully) and it is at the correct level. I replaced the fuel filter about 100 miles ago (it was doing it before I changed it). It's annoying, not only for me but for other traffic! It also makes it a bit difficult pulling out at junctions until it hits higher revs.

If anyone has any ideas i would be very grateful

    Cheers
    Lea

Sorted, after digging around and a good Australian site it points to the throttle position sensor so got one on order and see if that helps
