Fuel Pump Connection

Hi, anyone know if this pipe that runs down the side of the fuel injection pump should be connected to anything ?. The manifold has one connection to the fuel filter going in, another of similar size that goes to the block and this one that could just be a engine bay temp / pressure sensor ?. Thoughts please.

No it doesn't it's not actually a pipe, just a tube that is used to make sure you put the pipe back in the correct place, means you can only fit it one way round.

Thanks Lucky. Was not sure if I missed something when I replaced the pump gasket.
