  • Water Gurgling Noise

    Hi

Had my cambelt changed a month ago and ever since have had a gurgling water noise when I drive - I gather its air following the radiator being drained. I took it back to the garage and have been told they have tried everything but can't get all the air out but it will clear itself. If anything its getting noisier.

Any suggestions will it clear itself?. I did say I hope my heads going to be ok and they said there was no problem - I have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever as you guess from this post. Should I be worried?

    thanks

Try the link below on how to get the air out of the cooling system.
It is advisable to get rid of the air as it can compress and cause the coolant to be blown out of the cooling system and restrict the flow of coolant. There are lots of other threads on the Forum dealing with this if you do a search.

Is it really full in the first place, take off rad cap and check level. Dont wait for it to clear its self, low water = insuffecient cooling = trouble.
Make sure all heaters (front & rear) are open to the hot setting before bleeding the system.
