  • Whispie noise from front left wheel

I have noticed a whispie or light rubbing noise from the front left wheel, it goes away after the vehicle has warmed up whithin about 5 mins. I changed the hypoid oil in front and rear diffs a few months ago and dont recall this problem before this. It has the same grade oil front and rear. I havent tried 4x4 yet, it does not seem to be brakes. Could it be the Hubs?, any ideas anyone?. The vehicle is a 2.4 TD 1990 SSR LTD.

Could it be the brake pad wear warning thingies? The are like a little metal tab that touches the brake disc when the pads wear (or when they have been bent while diong another job). They make a high pitched tinkling which turns into a squeal if you ignore it.
    It's only a hobby!
