How to turn off timing belt light?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to turn off the timing belt light? I have recently had my timing belt changed but my car has just gone over 100 000 Km and the light has come on. How to reset it?

on 2.4, there is a rubber plug near the trip reset button on the speedometer, pull this out, and the reset button is under here, use something long and thin the press it.

You'll not see a lot. It's only a tiny hole.

do u know what im to look at when the engin check light comes on it only comes on when im doing about 120kmp never comes on before that and when i slow down it goes off help anybody im new to this

how do i switch off the timing belt light on a 3rd gen 3.0td hilux the belt has just been changed.

you need to take the clocks out and there is a small screw that needs to be moved.Do a search for timing belt light and you should find info and diagrams on what to do
