    People disconnect it after fitting manual hubs or lockers, you connect the suck side of the activator (goes to solonoid VSV4) directly to the vacuum tank (or do away with the tank as well, and connect it to the intake somewhere else), to keep the activator perminently engauged, and then cap the other pipe to stop it unlocking.

    Without manual hubs, you'll be wasting fuel and power leaving it locked on when in 2wd.
