  • Lifting advice needed

Just recieved my 2" lift kit from LA Supertrux, and convinced my father that he does want to fit it.
Now he has asked for any information about the fitting before he gets under my car in January, as it has been a while since he worked on vehicles, and the last vehicles were 7.5 tonnes in a fully fitted out workshop.
Has anyone come across any problems with the fitting, or any short cuts.
I will be honest I probably will not understand the answers, as I still have problems remembering which way to loosen a bolt (righty tighty, leftly lossey, I think) so will just print out all advice for hom to read.
The joke is he's expecting me to help (probably more tea Dad).

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi
Rear springs are easy, put spring clamps on old ones while they are compressed, jack car up, put chassis on tall axle stands, undo shock bottom bolts, let axle drop down and remove springs, new springs in may need you to disconnect anti roll bar also or alternatively stand on the hub while someone else slips the new (must be compressed) springs in. I didnt change my shocks but they are easy enough to get at the top mounts so shouldnt be any problem. Not too sure about the front as i adjusted my existing torsion bar to raise the front.
Hope that helps for 1/2 the job.
If it aint broke...........give it some more abuse!!!!!!!!
I gave it some abuse.................and it broke!!!!!!!

When you say adjusted the front torsion bars, what do you mean?

Before you ask, yes I have no idea what I'm doing.
