Hi folks.
Just signed up after buying another couple of Surfs, 1 of which was previously owned by a couple of members on here. I had regretted selling my last Sirf a couple of years ago and couldn’t wait to get back into 1, so when the chance came up to buy a pair I had to take it.
Both navy 93 2.4 autos, 1 in fairly standard SSR-G guise and the other an SSRX sitting on 35’s with a substantial lift.
Have quite a bit done to the X already having put it through an MOT a few weeks ago and will be fitting a new belt, pump, plugs etc to it this week so I know where I stand regarding all of that, and the G will be getting started on once I’ve the essentials completed on the big lady.
I’m from the currently ungoverned Northern Ireland and have spent a brave few years at the cars, namingly a few years at a turbo specialist doing supply and fit on new/recon’d units along with all other assisciated works and rebuilding turbos/completing turbo conversions, but the constant headaches and lack of interest in cars had me throw the towel in and return to the building game so that I could rekindle my love of vehicles as a hobby, not a job.
Anyway, enough waffling. Hope to get to grips with the place shortly and hope to be of help/find help when needed.
Cheers
Nicky
