Hi All.
Firstly massive fan of this forum. All of you have helped me out no end, and before anything else i would just like to say a big thanks!
So, I had a 2.4 turbo gen 2 when about 7 years ago... Not enough money, new born on the way... Needless to say i got a sensible car and loved it. For about a week.
Kids are now old enough to go camping, fishing, and everything else outdoorsy so got rid of the sensible car for a 3l td gen3. I love it, my family think i'm mad, kids love it, and that was two weeks ago...
Now, im getting to know it, and in two weeks I've;
1. Sorted out the 26 year old window tint job... Much better.
2. Fluid and filter change.
3. Fixed all three rear window runners/motors.
4. Pulled of the last guys twist and tape pound land "fog lights"
And finally the rocker gasket, after i suspect a leak from the rear of the rocker, praying it wasnt the rear crank seal... Turns out its neither, and it the oil pressure pipe to the turbo, common cracking to vibration?! Ordered the part from roughtrax. Its here today... I guess I'm looking for some encouraging words before I tackle it this weekend... And advice greatly appreciated. Ill do an update when the jobs done...
