hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if changing the timing belt is a difficult job to do
im not technician but I know my way around pretty well but I'm not sure if this is a job I can do myself or if I should get a pro to do for me.
i don't have any specialist tools but I would imagine that the cam and crank need to be locked off so they don't move.
i have a 96 KZN 185 it's a 3.0 ssrx model and the timing belt light has just come on at 175,000
i know it was changed at 90,000 so this is about right for a change now.
ive just got the new belt along with a new tensioner and bearing.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
