    Just bought a 3.0 auto 94 and what a car it is to drive compared to other 4x4s.
    I'm slowly learning bits about them any info on common faults and things to keep an eye on be much appreciated.
    I'm looking into lifting it bout 4 inch sus and 3 inch body with 33s or 35s along with 10x15 mods tube bumpers and a

    Cooling system.. make sure its tip top and the viscous fan works..

      I have got a slight leak from the rad getting it done tomorrow .. water level never drops tho .. have noticed it reaches running temp quick

        just put a new rad in, £80 a new one... and it will reach temp quick.

        You need to remove viscous coupling, re oil and adjust the temp cut in..

          I am a newbie with this .. how would I set the temp cut in .. it doesn't over heat after 1mile it's at running temp and doesn't go over

            if you follow the guides on how to split it (dont mess up the o ring, otherwise get another) when you have it apart, you will notice when you apply heat to the end that doesnt bolt to the water pump, the action inside opens up a gallery to let the oil through. you will see there is a phillips screw inside

                absolutely not, it will just run too cool then... if you do what i've suggested it will be fine. it will cost you a tenner to do the viscous coupling re oil and adjust. you have to unbolt it fron the water pump so if your water pump is overdue / unkown its worth changing at the same time
