Open the photo in 'Paint', in the top bar under 'Image' click on 'Stretch/Skew', then just change the top two 100% values in the stretch box to say 50's and press enter. Then 'Save as' remembering to change the name of the photo or it will overwrite the original.

I've worked at a few remote locations and stories the locals have about those place have always made me laugh. eg RAF Spadeadam, used to be the UK's rocket test site, now a aircraft range. But acording to the locals it had a 150 bed underground hospital, despite being located in one of Europes largest peat bogs!

Then there was RAF Colerne, site of one of the MOD's satelite ground stations.
The MOD decided to put golf balls over some of the satelite dishes to protect them from the weather. Acording to the locals we sudenly became Wiltshires answer to GSHQ!

Keep it up folks need some humor in this job!

that pic is genuinely in the GLCM bunkers at greenham common!... there's an old control tower (now boarded up) and an undergroundy bit there... the underground bit is not used, the entrance is in a building called venture west and looks like a big safe door... i believe it is still covered by the INF(?) treaty so can't be opened up to the public... but the rest is easy to get to and they've welded the doors open on the bunkers after some kiddy got stuck in there one weekend! they used to use them for a lot of film work... there was an episode of londons burning and some derren brown mind control filmed up there... but the runway's now gone.
