Just completed my first 1000 miles on veg oil blend using a two tank heated sytem from ATG. I'm no technical genius and there were a few scary moments along the way to completing the conversion but I can confirm that it works well and anyone with a little ability could do it. There is no real loss of power although the auto box does cause the motor to struggle alittle in top gear, at low revs when the overdrive is on. Top speed is the same, and its a great feeling when your doing 70 uphill with green fuel that grew in a field !

If anyone thinking of doing this wants any tips post them here and I will try to help.

Excellent.... can I ask how you got insurance? I used to run my VW golf on a 2 tank system but couldn't find anyone to insure it so ended up taking it out...

Insured with Priviledge, when I phoned up to check with them on the duel fuel issue they said there was no additional premium to pay, also have been quoted by another company at a competetive rate and they dont discriminate either. Will post contact numbers later
