Some advice on this would be appreciated....Considering buying a grey import Surf - Seen one inparticular - a 3 litre 1995 auto -this one is low mileage & very clean, asking 8k. Seems expensive.. Been trawling a few websites & a common fault seems to be overheating. Any comments? Anything particular to look for/check out during a test drive? Are imports rust proofed in any way?

The 3.0 has no issues with overheating, The 2.4 has issues with overheating.
Test all the buttons also check the 4WD button engages & releases 4WD. hi & low box ensure this works ok.
