  • Claim to fame

Ok - Matt just gave me an idea...

His dad once starred in a Dulux advert, before they decided to start using a dog...

My dad once flew a control line aircraft in the world championships for England, and won.

Tony's mum has been on Radio 2 talking about her tomatoes

Have any members of your family got a "claim to fame"?? Wackyness gains most points!!

bloke on X factor (Odis palmer) was in my class at school... down to last 15 (over 25 group) think he gets booted this week, but simon cowell's been well impressed with him... he works in a furniture shop in town, and his dad was in the USAF at greenham common back in the 80's (when america was cool!)

Guys - its supposed to be an example each of a "family member" not the sister in law of the brother of the guy who ran the paper shop down the road from where your 3rd cousin went to school!!

My paternal Grandmothers cousin was Wilfred Hyde-White of Ealing Comedy fame.

I have a picture of my Dad sitting on George Bernard Shaws knee. It was taken at a garden party at Luton Hoo in the 1930s.

My Dad served in the Merchant Navy with Tommy Steele (they used to throw things at him and tell him he was crap whenever he got his guitar out).

I introduced DLT and The Emperor Rosko on stage at................RAF Cosford (Not exactly Caesars Palace).

I met Debbie Harry on the Hammersmith and City line about eight years ago. We had a good chat - there was a signal failure.
