Good morning,
First post and I wanted to start by saying this forum has been an excellent source of information, thanks to all the contributing members for their time. Your posts helped me in purchasing my first Hilux Surf. She is a 1996 Blue Gen 3 import KZN185.
After seeing a Surf around 8 years ago and thinking what a beautiful looking machine that is, I finally managed to find a fairly clean one.
Having only limited knowledge about them, I wanted to start with getting the basics covered. This maybe a long shot but is there anyone out there preferably close (West Yorkshire) who can give the Surf a "once over?" - I will pay for your time if you prefer.
Nothing as of yet has been changed, Iv'e only topped up the levels with genuine Toyota Oil (10w 40) and Coolant (pre mixed red).
I could just take her to the numerous local garages but after having bad experiences in the past, I'd prefer she was seen by an enthusiast as only we know how much we love these machines!
Seems like I'm unable to upload photos, maybe this thread needs moderating first? anyways apologies for the long post, here's a link to some photos https://goo.gl/1mVCK1 .
Regards
:-)
