any of you surfers out there had a full respray done, i have no body damage
( the surf not me) other than scuffs, scratches and chips that you would expect from a 10 year old car and would like to bring the surf paint work like new. before i go out pricing wondered if anyone has had prices as a guideline

A single wing will cost around £130, metalic with pearl laquer at a good sprayers so you must be looking at the £500 for a good job m8.

A full respray would be around 2K , try polishing it first to bring the colour back to life

        resprays

got a price today from aposh accident repair place in wigan, full respray in same blue metallic not including inside doors and sills £1300. polishing makes her shine but marks remain.
not in any rush so maybe there will be a new year offer on somewhere.

Shows how long it is since I needed any spray work doing, way off the mark.

Iff they are only surface scratches eg. Not deep scratches G3 & a good Polisher will take them out then you need a High Gloss polish on the top to finish

"Maguirs" might be worth a try.

I used the one for red paint on my old MR2 Turbo (red paint oxidises/faints badly) and the Maguirs brought it back to life - it only took a couple of applpications..

They (Maguirs) restores oxidisation/discolouration etc without being as harsh as other methods (i.e. T-Cut & co), not sure how - some magic or other.

I was impressed with the stuff anyway, it's also used by a lot of the modding lot and showcar owners so it must be ok.

Not sure if they do a range for your colour or not but it'd be cheaper than any respray work.

By "faints badly" I obviously meant "fades badly"
