Surf radiator

Hi all, I am new to this and know nothing of forum etiquette etc bar what I have read from other posts so apologies if I come across as stupid/ignorant, I have recently purchased 2 x 1991 2.4 auto surfs (the second only purchased to rob a few shiny bits off (nudge bars etc) then sell on but on examination there are a few differences I don't get... (not mechanically minded)
One seems to have a rad directly under the engine to the front mounted horizontally as well as the standard vertically mounted one... why is this please?
Apologies if this has already been covered and I've missed it.

Its the air con rad, some 2.4 had the air con rad in front of the normal rad others were fitted underneath.

Hi and thank you, that explains why both surfs have air con buttons but not same lower mounted rad. Much appreciated.
