  • 6" TFT monitors

    Mornin' all

Has anyone fitted 6" TFT monitors in to the rear of the front seat headrests?

I've got two (Centurion PP60) to fit and wondered how easy a task this actually is (or isn't) - any pointers greatly appreciated.

    Cheers in advance

You can try Keith aka: Hormygollop. He's the man for that stuff, but he's a busy bloke, so a pm or email might be in order. He can supply most of what you might need.

      Done done DONE!!!!!!

Well........for anyone contemplating doing this - the end result is tres cool but OMG what a nightmare getting them to fit.

I never realised the inside of the headrests not only stink (the weird fire retardent foam stuff) but you need to cut the plastic box AND hacksaw a bit of the metal internals (tho I suppose this is dependant on the types of monitors used?)

It's only taken me most of the afternoon and just half a box of plasters, but am well pleased. X-Zibit eat your heart out, proper PimpMyRide stylee (well, getting there )

I'll take some pics once I've charged the camera & will post some of the finished article (try anyway).

Didn't think of taking stage by stage pics and TBH I'm not likely to remove them to get these

Now I'm contemplating getting my X-Box hooked up too.
