heated seats

my friend kindly offered to reupholster the spare seats i got, now,
while at it came to me the idea to make them heated, do any of you know what to use? or where to buy it? thanks

Not even sure if there is a heated seats kit available, guess you could use the elements from the heated seats from a saloon car (my old ford Granada had them, although I only ever used it once, my arse got too hot) easier to put an extra pair of underdungers on or some thermals, save time, expence and trouble with possible fires, (your backside might get hotter than you like)

Dunno mate cheap and from china so buyer beware, have a word with the chap whos re-upholstering them,
I'd be happy with a heater that worked, been a useless bugga ever since I bought the truck 11 odd years ago, flushed it several times, bypassed the valve, it now runs direct from the engine and still wont get hot,

I've seen a few headted seat kits about, I'd think whoever is doing the retrtim work will probably have a preferred supplier.

if you go for it and if you have two spare switch blanks, Landcruiser Colorado heated seat switches fit into our dashes, and look stock
