Just saying hello after not being on here for a while....
The old jeep just keeps on going, fitted a new backbox yesterday in preparation for the mot, the old Milner job barely lasted a year! The salt up here is atrocious to be fair and it was very cheap. Roughtrax supplied the new one and it has made a big difference to the driving, much more refined (relatively!).
I think there are only two functioning glow plugs now, four or five turns are required before a smooth start. I have the new plugs ready, but the old ones are putting up a fight. It's the wee nuts that hold the buzzbar on that are holding up proceedings... the plastic bit has separated and I couldn't get a grip on the remaining (tiny) securing nut. It's been a while since I looked so I'll try again one day.....
Mine doesn't do much off-roading, but I do make sure I take it through the woods now and again to give the 4wd gubbins a work out...

Anyway, cheers all. The site is a big help to all us lurkers!
