  • rear seat knobs

Did I imagine it or did someone on the forum have new rear set pull knobs made?
My pull knobs have cracked split broken and are generally of no use as a knob to be pulled.
My addled brain seems to think they were turned out of alloy?
I have tried araldite but to no avail.
The brake line copper shepherds crook affair/bodge can not be classed as a permanent solution.
Any one have an idea or did I just imagine it all?

    Confused

    originally just white nylon.............

made some out of Ali,next, but finding the right size hole was a bit of a problem, i was told by someone that 4.5mm and some glue worked for them.

think i may have a set at work, you may have to drill out the hole a bit bigger.

          I am glad I didn't imagine it.

Let me know if you have them and how much you want for them.

these any good to you? bit fancy,i guess,i was just playing around one afternoon with the whole design ,did various types of grooving, but settled on something like this, yours if you want them,i'll send a couple of drills out with them,so you can open up the hole in the shaft.couldn't find a tap with a rapid spiral thread like the seats have,so i stuck with the nylon,as it screwed on very easy.you might need to put a self tapping screw down them first,to give you a ''lead in''

                        Hi Scott,

Do you have any more of these? Would you be willing to make a pair up for a fee, perhaps with a longer shaft?

                        Cheers,
                        David
