We're camping at Corfe castle that weekend - how far away are you?

Its about 71 miles to Linda's from there

Surf Meetings --- sounds fun but bit too short notice for me.

What about someone, a distinguised member of this forum, organises a BIG SURF WEEKEND on Salisbury Plains next summer? plenty of notice, i see tents, caravans, BBQ's, SURFS, trials, GL,... make it a national event by HILUXSURF.CO.UK. Every year somewhere else.

Now theres an idea. Not to sure about camping on the plains though, theres far to much unexploded ordnance laying around!! See photo!

Now am I a distinguished member of the forum yet? If so I'll organise it! Hey why wait till summer, I fancy a christmas holiday outing!

Good idea - but camping on the plains is a no-no - must be a local campsite somewhere close though. Danno 's on the job!, but not sure I fancy Christmas camping!!!


Have an extra tab on the forum, saying meetings, where members can organise local meetings.

Maybe do Landy - Bishi v. Surfs competitions.

(would have loved to go to 4x4 meeting last month, but was on hols )
Are you organising that again? What about Beaulieu???
Check out the offroad threads - theres a meeting at Slindon 16th October. We tend to meet about once a month for offroading throughout the winter. Or if there's a good site down your way post about it with plenty of notice and see what responses you get?

Hehe - yeah but it would be more fun spending the weekend with the rest of you... now the field and bonfire is a good idea, but it might be a bit muddy by then as it does have two large horses stomping all over it...
