Temporary Insurance

My Surf has been off the road for a while and now I want to get it MOT'd.
Trouble is it isn't insured and I can't find anyone to insure it short term just so that I can legally drive it to the garage.
Does anyone know of a company that will insure it for 1-28 days?

Hi Ant, I don't want to promote bad habits but when I lived in UK and needed to insure a car for a day (IE: MOT, just bought it or whatever) I used to take up a policy on the Phone and then cancel it the next day.

Ooops....maybe I shouldn't have mentioned it...maybe I am on some global insurer's black list!

You will most likely get hit with fees.
Car insurance companies are designed to empty your wallet in a most efficient manner.

I can definitely recommend Lancaster insurance
Especially if you want a company that is as elusive as a white hart that has zero customer service and are a bunch of incompetent ass hats.
