after 6 years

my surf is now on the road passed mot with out an advisery or nothing
am expecting a few teething problems has it is 23 years old now and been stud six years
i dont want to say how much its cost has its far more than she is worth
put it this way
2 front bushers and new front bearings and that would them be the whole car rebuilt
engine wise has all been done gear box has been done
am on with the body work running gear all done except the front bits
am left with a few rust bits on the front doors and a little on the edge of the bonnet
wax oil and the hammerite i put on first has payed off
i can say with any hammerite pait on there first then wax oil over the top will stop rust in a big way
theres no rust on the under carage at all iam still going to do it again tho
hopefully if i can help it am not off roading

oh i have vuccum pipes to do
iam chuffed to bits to have the surf back

4 weeks aint long but feels like it when your waiting stormy it will soon come around
and yes woody i did this for my birthday am going to greese up the front bearings in the morning just coss i wont to and then am off out all day then
only thing is am still ill and cant go alone
