As this weeks episode has been cancelled, do you see this as the beginning of the end of TG on the beeb?

Quite possibly...can't see the show working so well without him and he/BBC have rather backed themselves into a corner over the last year.

The BBC have dumbed down so much over last few years that they probably are stupid enough now to lose their biggest money spinner!

Agreed he is a muppet the show has gone down hill as far as I am concerned its now filled with items that are stupid. It's like they can't think of good things to fill the programme with.
Personally I think it will be better without him pulling all the strings and getting his own way.

Jeremy Clarkson is Top Gear & owns a lot of the rights. If the BBC let him & the show go they would be mad!

Clarkson is a typical yorkshire man and says it how it is & gets slated for it! Shame really that everyone is so easily offended.

Can you blame him for overacting if his food wasn'r ready??

              I dunno...

..He's got a dry wit but he's also become more and more boorish and arrogant over the years. Despite being a Yorkshireman, it seems he looks down his nose at the North and anyone without a fee-paying background in general. No doubt he was laughing it up in the NE and was asking for an interpreter etc.

I don't know the ins and outs of the "Fracas" but I do know I've never resorted to chinning someone because I couldn't source my own food.

Surely he'd have a car available, and plenty of Clown, King or Colonel options available in Newcassell. Rubbing shoulders with Biffa Bacon and The Fat Slags might make him realise his poo stinks just the same as everyone elses.

I mean, what example does this set? Sometimes I return home from a hard day to find no food prepared for me. Perhaps if I were to chin the wife for such an affront, people will understand ["Clarkson vs. The BBC, M'Lud"] and lay flowers at my grave ?

It's a great opportunity to replace him with Vicky Butler Henderson or Suzi Perry

I hope he goes, he has been operating with inadequate intelligence for the job for some years now. Also how bad does this new series need to get before it's canned totally.
James May is the only one worth his spot.

I like the programme. I like all of the presenters. They all add their own bit, which makes the whole show.

I think the Beeb are making a mistake if they sack him.

The producers aren't the people we watch, the presenters are.

If my dinner wasn't on the table I'd be punching some f£cker too.

Only joking, I'm single so I'd have to punch myself.

But seriously, he's why people tune in.

channel 4 will pick him up,in a flash. then he will really be off the leash.
good or bad, i doubt he will be gone for long.

If they cancel Top Gear, what will Dave show to fill air time?
Wonder what other tv channels will try and woo him though if he gets booted.

On a different note; today I drove down the road they resurfaced in 24 hours. Not a bad job, but the edges are starting to wear out due to over running of cars.

I doubt C4 will have what he wants, but I also doubt if Sky will fit either.

I feel his qualities don't fit in the new Beeb, and rightly or wrongly he is out

Bear in mind that the initial details of the fracas must have been leaked by an insider, and that the new management have been waiting for an excuse to oust him.
