Pickup conversion MOT and V5

Ok this is a question to all you converts on here.

Whats the deal with getting the converted truck MOT'd and the V5 changed if needed at all?

As it has a separate chassis I know the MOT shouldnt be an issue as no structural changes have been made but some insight from you guys would be great.

Basically, it will not need to change, the first gen surf had a removable rear top so it could be classed as a pickup or an estate.you are not modifying the chassis or any major components that woukd affect steering or braking.
