Leaky front diff seal 😥

Hi guys
I've changed my cv gaiters today and found another thing on my list to do lol !!
Looks like my front diff O/S seal is leaking and possible Output or needle bearing has failed as it seems to have excessive play in the drive shaft flange
Is there a common bearing that fails inside the diff to cause this ?

Just wondered who has done one of these before and anything else i should look out for would be a massive help
just want to make sure i have everything here before i start it

Hi gman thanks for the reply there's some good info there, I have a seal here but didn't wanna change it if it was gonna destroy it as there's obviously bearing failure somewhere , so think I'm gonna order all the bearings and seals then can just do the lot when it's out , gonna take the diff out as then gets easier access to rebuild it in my garage , I'm back offshore next week so I'll order everything and start it next time I'm home and will let u know how I get on lol 😁
