I still want to go ahead with this, regardless. you and your friends help and knowledge was much appreciated, and with what you are doing over their , i was thinking that there are things you could help me out with as well.
i've no intention of going into production with these kits,or selling them on any site.just thought a bit of mutual 'backstratching' might be of benifit to us both!
Certainly is a benefit, Thats how a lot of our special projects get off the ground. and i forgot to show you around properly, next time you come down remind me.

if your about this weekend,i'll pop over with more details, materials etc. get a better idea of quantity and such. and its not that much effort with a CNC nowadays, wouldn't want to do it on a manual though!
think it would be better to continue this privately.

Unless we get hold of the video, then it might make this a monster length thread to rival the goodcat days

Surely if you want a project to get off the ground private would sound alarm bells!!

Now that is effin cheap, but it does not state the diameter of bolts and what grade they are.

Yes, the kit is a bit overpriced, but what isn't nowadays.

Look forward to the OP selling lift kits for 20 quid.
actually, john, your not a million miles off the mark,in terms of material,at least.the main expense would appear to be the bolts if not bought in bulk. so all you really need would be friendly CNC operator to knock them out in his own time, and not charge you labour,as a favour.
do you know anyone like that?

but seriously (and im showing my ignorance here, again) why are all the 2'' -4'' kits mostly some kind of plastic ,and not ali like these...............
                              http://www.milneroffroad.com/toyota-...it-1-12-inch-2
ali is much cheaper ,per length,by far. apart from the obvious corrosion issue, which could be solved by any number of means, paint, lacquer or plating,
                              why not??
