Evening Scott

Canal boat job going well.No heavy mechanical repairs as yet,mostly servicing & winter maintenance.Spent 3 days this week painting bilges.
My co worker Tim Pyatt ripping out & replacing faulty electrics on 3 of the 4 boats.

If any help required with the Surf let me know.
Maybe have a Saturday or Sunday workshop, with other members here at the Kings Head.

im long overdue a trip down to you ,any way!
still cant find any obvious leaks,no smoke what so ever to speak of,good pressure in the coolant system,so im going ahead with the heater pipe deletion next week, with an oil and filter change,see if the oil shows any sign of contamination . popped in to see Barry and staff this afternoon, to price up the head replacement,and get a few bits. the new braided brake hoses have turned up, look very nice.i've long thought that goodridge have been off there game, all the recent jap bikes i've done, their kits have been an appalling fit!
im going to keep an eye on levels for a while,see what happens, but i think ill go for the new head next year,regardless, for what it costs,i believe, is not much for piece of mind in the long run. but a meet up and natter would be great anyway,thanks.

i will get back to you after this weeks investigations, im still hoping on the rear pipes,but would like to know for sure what state the head is in for piece of mind.cheers!

I will be at the workshop next wkend from around 11am to 6pm on saturday and 11am to 4pm sunday. The workshop is on Engineers road just down from Rygor the mercedes commercial garage.

Over fabrication uk. you can't miss us, there will be a white skyline,silver gt4 my surf, blue p100 and a silver race prepped rx7 parked outside.
