New Tax Disc (update)

The DVLA website for road tax kept crashing last night as I was trying to get my road tax online, ho hum try again in the morning.
Really looking forward to not shelling out £230 in one lump and spreading the cost via the new direct debit format.

Guess what?

Yep the paperless ta disc is now in force hurrah!!

You can't apply for the direct service unless your tax runs out 1st November.

I fcukin love the joined up thinking of this government.Not.

Tax on my English reg car run out end of Sept.

I renewed it online on Sunday with no problems whatsoever.

I think it a good new system but haters are gonna hate.

Truth be told I was actually looking forward to spending the £230 on something more interesting than frickin road tax......

And maybe just a little miffed that I couldn't use the direct debit route as that doesn't go live till November.

Still at least its not like paying taxes are for ever.

Yep, both Kirsty and I have tax due and tripped over the same problem...blinking annoying.
