Which battery to wire a WINCH to.....

Morning all.......

After a rather late night last night the winch is on the bumper! But I'm still to wire it up. Which battery do I wire the winch to??

I wouldnt have thought it would matter as the way they are wired it should pull both batteries down anyway.

If it were me I would wire it to the easiest one to get the cables to.

Really you should wire it through an isolator before you wire to the battery.

Either a manual one or a solenoid operated one.

But I suppose you have a fire extinguisher in the truck.
