Have you checked your manual hubs are locking correctly and there is no damage to the slines on the output shafts ?

      I haven't no.

I'm just suckered as to why it was working fine right before it got wet!

I didn't sit there spinning, I didn't do anything! She went in got stuck died!

After coming out the 4wd doesn't work anymore! Maybe thats just coinsedence but I'm postive it was working before as I did all the steep slopes etc prior to getting wet then couldn't anymore!! The back was just spinning!

When you done the A.D.D. delete, did you make sure the sliding collar in the front diff could't slide back into the unlocked position?

This is one of my possible thoughts! That it may have slid back! I didn't personally do the mod on this diff, I did it on the other! And told him to copy it!

I will get it on a ramp and drop the oil and take the ADD bit off again and check!

Providing the transfercase is actually engaging the front prop, you should still get 3WD if the collar has moved.
The passenger side front wheel freewheels in 2WD, the driver's side wheel is always turning with the diff. Switching to 4WD locks both front wheels to the diff at the same time as the transfercase locks, or engages the front prop.

                I will check it asap...

With the transfer case I can hear that clonk when I press the button, and the dash light comes on so I am assuming it is going into 4wd........

Could it clonk, display the light, and not be going completely in??

                  Another point......

If I have locked the hubs, and I'm driving the car back and forth, The front prop would turn anyway engaged or not wouldn't it? as the locked hubs are are turning the diff which is turning the shaft! Well my thoughts..........

So i jack it up and span the drivers wheel by hand and the front prop didn't turn!!!!

So am I to guess the problem lies further back in the transfer box perhaps???

The front prop should spin if the driver's side front wheel is turning whether in 2 or 4WD.

I would drop the front diff oil first to if there any crown wheel teeth in it.

                      Marvelous!!!!!!!!!!

I only jacked the drivers wheel up so 3 wheels were firmly on the floor! If that makes a differance!

I'll rejack the drivers side up tonight and check it!

From whoring the web today! I've achieved not a lot as they all seem to bang on about the damn ADD system although a few seem to have an issues with the transfer box not working but this is mainly to do with it not dis-engaging!

Jack both front wheels off the ground at the same time.

                            I tried!

But its just to damn high!!!

I'm awaiting the arrival of some scaffold boards so I can try again!!

                              Ok so scaffold boards worked!!!

On spinning the drivers wheel the driveshafts turn on the drivers and the passenger side...... But only the drivers wheel turns! The cv boot is off on the passenger side! So I'm guessing thats a cv gone!!!

More worrying is the front prop is not turning when spinning the drivers side wheel!!!!

If in 2wd I can turn the prop by hand in 4wd I can't turn it! And it's not spinning when I spin the drivers wheel!!

The click when engaging 4wd is still there the clonk from underneath when engaging is has now stopped!!

                              I'm bemused!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can a diff go just from being in water, pulled out, and being towed all of 100m

I did get the clong from the transfer box to happen a couple of times!

I can also feel a differance in "pull" between h and l. Putting the pig in Reverse + no revs in hi it doesn't move on the drive! put it into low and it pulls.

In drive and low I can get the brakes straining in, flick to h and the strain goes. same back the other way, no strain then strain in Low.

                                So h & l is working!

But should I be worried the transfer case noise is gone? The click from behind the radio is still there and the light still comes on and off with the switch!
