How to spot LSD

How does one know if ones truck is supposed to have a LSD?

Most cars/trucks have it marked as a code somewhere but i dunno where to look on Surf.

Mine is open, tested it one wheel on the grass but to be honest you can usually tell by feel anyway on tight bends.

Just wanting to find out if there's a LSD in there or if i have to find one for rebuild.

Axle code ends with a 5 I think

My 2.4 has a lsd sticker on diff casing

Give it a lick and then the purple dragon will tell if it's LSD or not

Yep 294 open 295 LSD. These are the 3.0 codes find them on the vin

My diff code is A02B which is a LSD which is also found on the Soarer occasionally with the same ratios and is much sort after in that community.

It may be something to do with the model or year of the Surf which diff was used.

Wiring diagrams not so good, better working with a big handful of wires, managed to wire in monstrous big stereos and modern engines into old cars in the past.

(Still can't get me one touch tailgate window working right but I think I know why)
