I was talking to a refrig engineer the other day and he showed me a letter sent to all engineers telling them that they are not allowed to use the air con in their vans.

Accountants
Isn't accountants just a anagram of a five letter word beginning with "c" ?
not monitored.
speed tickets is a grey aera as no one has got one yet to find out wha the boss will do.
however boss has done more damage to vehicles in a year than i have done in 20 years........and i'm the "fast driver". go figure.

Yep
The management vehicles don't have trackers
Surprisingly.
One of the engineers I spoke to has said that he will be pulsing the throttle to make sure that he goes 1mph over then back to 1mph under for as long as he can.
Every time someone's vehicle goes above the speed limit the office gets an alarm sounded from the tracker system and the transport manager automatically gets a email.
I phoned up yesterday and commented "what's that ping ping ping in the background? Oh that's the tracker speed alarm. "
He he.
Not saying that we are trying are best to break the system.
But we are.

As I said in my earlier post "a course of clever retribution " I think you've found it!
I was just wondering, the people that come up with all of these ridiculous and moronic ideas in an office, would they not have starved to death or have been hung from the nearest tree 200 years ago?
If it wasn't for the welfare state we would have far fewer of these genetic #### up's around us now.
The first (of many no doubt ) engineer has been 'invited' to a disciplinary meeting to discuss his speeding of allegedly 65 in a 30 zone, possible outcomes may include being recommended for instant dismissal.
The engineer has already denied that this speed is accurate.
We will wait to see the outcome.
My 115mph on the M5 uphill past Clevedon in a 75 mph speed restricted vehicle has been discounted as a anomaly of the system.........
some of the gps camera systems are not always accurate. i've had my camera say i was doing 50km/h while i was parked dropping a worker off at his house.
It gets better
One of the vehicles was clocked doing 120mph on the Brompton Road London. You know, just outside Harrods.
The system only pings the vehicles every two minutes, which seems a bit strange especially if accuracy is required.
Oh and if say you were traveling along the motorway at 65 mph and when it pings the device you happened to be on a raised section or traveling under a road bridge it is a 50/50 chance whether it decides you are still on the motorway or indeed on the other road with yes you guessed it the lower speed limit.
My sat nav will quite often tell me to turn right in 200 yards to rejoin the motorway that I am already on and it shows me in the service roads adjacent to the motorway.
Quite satisfying to be able to stick it to the man.
Although I am sure the let's make it difficult for the engineers out on the road department is already devising the next BS idea.
