After 7 years without one I finally got another surf yesterday. '96 3rd gen Ssrg 3.0 manual. Drove it back from Manchester to Kent and it was like I had never been away from surfs, instantly fell in love again and it went like a bat out of hell. 80ish all the way home and not bad fuel consumption, the manual box obviously helps. Once again I am a happy bunny.

Yes it's multi mode, done 175000 kms (about 110000 miles I think?) it has quite a lot of service history but it spent 3 yrs in Spain so most of it is in Spanish. I will do the timing belt ASAP just in case. My first 2nd gen surf was a metallic red but this one is pearlescent silver, I prefer it to my last one which was the usual blue over silver. So far all I have found wrong with it is the steering rack bushes are quite worn, another job on the list but I am sure I will find more over the next couple of weeks.God bless gaffer tape and mastic!
