LOL
You will probably have V8 power before I have 4WD
I always thought that would swell everything up and make it harder. I'll look into it, ta
Then its just swinging on the nut to get it to move.
What about coke dribbled on the nut?Eat.Sleep.Surf.Repeat.

Not that anyone should condone drug use, but if you're gonna get caught cheating why not go the whole hog with strippers, porn stars and 'stimulants'

Guess what option I will go for.
I'm still got to trim the thread and may junk one of the coupling nuts and add a normal one to raise it slightly.
Looks like I will be heading your way at last...hence sorting the truck. Will let you know when mate...... Which was nice.

I know the VSV'S work.
I know the ADD works.
I know the 4wd ECU works.
And I know the transfer case motor works perfectly ..............on the bench, but buggered if I can get it to work on the truck.
It just jams up and refuses to turn.
Bloomin' thing.
Is there a healthy 12v reaching the motor when it's on the truck?

This weekend I fitted my front Anti Roll bar, with poly bushes, and front drop links that had been lengthened by 1.5" for better compatibility with the lift.
I also swapped out the rear 1.5" spacers for some 20mm ones, and am now happy with the way the truck sits.. (rear Old Man Emu 3" lift, plus 20mm poly spacers, front height adjustable ToyTech "Boss" coilovers).
I then refitted the side steps..
Then I cleaned the truck as I had a dateMore Lift.
More Tyres.
More Engine.

I was going on the dash volt meter dropping and change in engine tone as the 4wd button was pushed and have just assumed that it was getting 12volts.
Assuming again I know, but the 4wd ECU powers the motor and the switching is down inside the ECU, and not through a separate relay.
So if the relays inside the ECU are getting lazy or the contact faces are all pitted then I may be getting a circuit but not enough current to push the motor ?
I have a battery I can slide under the truck with to see if it that can push it.Eat.Sleep.Surf.Repeat.
