I just saw your engine pic and thought it was a 1256cc - had one in my first car, a Chevette :-)

Pulling the whole interior out of a peugot 307. Engine is out, and the shell is bare, bar the interior.
Bracing next week, then a transmission tunnel, for a (As yet undecided) prop to a trans axle...make it rear wheel drive.

Neat solution to the battery drain issue, where your vehicle is static for an extended period.
Fit and forget.
Which should be the essence of all good mods.

Gonna try and get the exhausts off one of the LS400s without wrecking it.

What a PITA!

Couldn't release the bolts on the section between the mid and rears so had to cut it. Gutted as that section has decent sell on value.

Was on ages trying to tackle the bolts from the CATs to the manifolds. Not budging. Going to have to be patient and keep adding WD40. You can't get at them with anything other than a spanner, FFS! I have no idea how I'm getting to the top one.

The only reason I'm not just cutting them is because I've gotten a decent price for them.

But if they persist...they'll have to be chopped

On the plus side...when I came to starting it up and coming off the ramps...OH MY GOD! I spent a decent amount of time just playing with the revs Pure V8 awesomeness! Those LS400 4 x silencers really do quieten the beast down.

Well, all I have managed to get done today is a bit fat zero.
I know the VSV'S work.
I know the ADD works.
I know the 4wd ECU works.

And I know the transfer case motor works perfectly ..............on the bench, but buggered if I can get it to work on the truck.
It just jams up and refuses to turn.
Bloomin' thing.
