Can someone please explain in plain English how the fcuk this can happen ?
After much dicking around managed to squeeze under the truck and have now got the transfer case motor to push the selector rod forward for 4wd.
Have confirmed that the plunger has continuity.
Up in the cab still no effing 4wd light and confirmed that it is just rear wheels being driven by the fact they just turn in the now quagmire.
No difference if using the button or pushing forward to select low ratio, all that does is make the wheels turn slower.
Flicks open the bonnet and swaps the VSV's hoses over and miracle upon miracle the magical and elusive 4wd button lights up and joy of joy I have 4wd confirmed by all 4 wheels now slowly spinning in the mud but I have traction and can move the truck.
Yes I was that excited that a little bit of wee did come out.
But the fcuking thing won't come out of 4wd unless I swap the VSV's hoses back over.
What have I done ?
I'm confused.
Help.
Please.
No seriously, help.
