New here, Looking for a panhard drop bracket

Hi, I've been lurking here for a while now absorbing all of the fantastic information on this forum. Thought it was about time I made an appearance

A month or so ago I fit new 2" lift springs to my '95 Surf. The RH spring is sitting a little bent while the LH spring sits perfectly straight. From what I can gather, I need a panhard drop bracket to get the diff back in alignment and straighten out the springs. Can anyone tell me if I'm correct or not?

Also if this is right, then where is the best place to get one of these in the UK?
I live in Christchurch, NZ and things here are generally obscenely expensive. I got a quote for a bracket to be made from a custom metal worker who frequently does 4wd mods and claims to have previously done a couple of these before and is was going to cost $300 NZD = £150 GBP
Luckily I have a friend in the UK heading this way in a couple weeks who will bring me the bracket if I can source one in time!

Also do the ARBs need to be modified at all?

Any insight into this would be much appreciated

Our resident Professor (Bushwhacker) has made em in the past, not sure if he's got one laying about ...
Might be worthwhile putting a add in the "Wanted" section also !!
Remove the ARB's altogether is my advise but at your discretion ....

go ask tomsoffroad hes in chch i think. i think he priced it at around $150.

but, by memory you can't make one for 2" lift. i think the smallest is for 2.5" or 3" lift.
a 2" lift shifts the axle about 8mm.

The kit includes the drop bracket, two plates to drop the ARB end links down to prevent the bush's brackets snapping, and all nuts/bolts.

Hi Bushwhacker, That sounds fantastic! I have a friend leaving the UK to come back to NZ on the 20th. Is there any chance of getting it done and shipped to him by then? Also is a 2" bracket ok? I only have 2" lift springs so I think that is all I need.

I can have it to him by the 20th no problem.
The bracket will work with 2" to 4" of rear suspension lift.

I know ya can a busy Boy but understood ya wasn't able to get on with the Big stuff (conversions) atmo, thought ya may appreciate something on a smaller scale

The bracket will work with 2" to 4" of rear suspension lift.

how does that work?
have you made an adjustable one?
normally they are made to suit the lift. hence you can buy them in 2.5", 3", 4" etc. one size does not fit all.

if you fit a 4" one on a 2" lift it will be like not fitting one at all.

btw panhard drop bracket requires to be certed.
i assume its road going as its only a 2" lift. unless you have other things to be certed, its kinda expensive just for one bracket.
partly why no one normally bothers with the brackets on 2" lift. they normally handle fine without it.
