Rusting door bottom, what can I do?

Evening all,

This morning, while washing the truck, I noticed some discoloration on the bottom of the drivers door. Upon closer inspection, I found the inside bead is quite rusty & this rust is stricking through to the outside skin

Just wondering what you'd recommend? Sand it down & jenolite it to death, then get the door re-sprayed? Or am I chasing a lost cause, now the rust is inside the skin, am I chasing a lost cause?

Presumably the 3.0 & 2.5 gen2 versions are identical body panel wise?

All four door 2nd gen panels are the same regardless of which engine they have. The 3.0 has a wider rubber strip along the doors though.
Not sure what the 2.5 looks like.
