Surf's gone

Just sold the beloved Surf. She's gone to a lucky local bloke who'll be using her daily so she'll be put to good use. To be honest, I'm a bit gutted but a change of circumstance has meant that she had to go. Tried every justification I could to keep her, but truth is, she'll probably be used twice a year now so effectively would be costing me a few hundred pounds per drive of her. Anyway, I never got round to it before so here are a few pics.

Certainly is. I'm just outside Insch.

You might see more of the Surf now; it'll be a daily driver for someone using it as his courier van. He wanted something that can cope with the country lanes when the snow comes. I'll just be relying on the local farmer using his snow plough and a decent set of winter tyres on the Golf from now on. It's a combination that has worked so far.
