newbie tyre question

Hi all.

a quick question for you i have a 1994 3liter manual surf(itsamazing) and it has a set of bf goodrich 31x10.5x15 on there, does this mean its had a suspension lift to fit these size tyres or will they fit on a standard height ? sorry if this is a daft newbie qestion but im learning as i go

Fit standard height.

31/10.5/15 were a factory option tyre size, the equivalent to 265/70/15.
