You must have bl00dy long arms then, the drop down is a bit of a pain at times, thats why last year i was seriously thinking of altering it, just never got round to it, i have a 5" total lift and am an "old" short ar se so i need a beer crate to get in the back,
wish the surf had the two way option like yank station wagons and i believe fronteras
if i could get a sturdy pair of good looking hinges i'd still have a go at changing it, just dont want a pair of cobbled up rusty looking steel things on there, nice stainless ones would look good

Gives you a good excuse to empty the contents a beer crate every time you want to get in the back!
