Been following his progress, what a crazy and hugely impressive undertaking.

Bad news. They had to pull him out of the water after 13.5 hours and 39 miles. The tide had turned and he wasn't going anywhere, just beginning to die.

He is on the ferry back, beer in hand, as we speak.

Well it was a dam fine effort, I am sure he will bounce back.
