Have a look at the specification for the lexus gs450h, 345bhp (0-60 in 5.4, 1/4 mile 13.9s) rwd saloon for around £10k which does 40mpg and only £200 a year to tax.

15 grand is a lot of money, don't blow it on a Skoda or a Honda Accord (or any of the other cars for that matter). You could change someone's life, for the better. There's enough cars on the road, why do you need a fleet? Find a genuine needy family or a worthy cause in your area and donate it. Then drive off in your surf and go for a drink, or a walk by the sea. You 'll feel great. CheersOriginally posted by Albannach View PostI'm thinking about adding another vehicle to the fleet. At the moment, I'm undecided as to whether it'll be an additional vehicle or a replacement for something.
So far, I've been looking at - Mazda 6, Mitsubishi Lancer, Mercedes C, E and SL, Skoda Octavia VRS, Toyota Avensis, Honda Accord and Audi A4.
I have up to £15k to spend.
I don't need another truck, I already have enough of them.
What would you buy?

@ Tashtego
How will Albannach buying another car add to the number of cars on the road?
I have 6 dining chairs, 8 seats in the lounge, 5 in the playroom, and about 12 outside, to name but a few.
My question to you is, how many seats can I sit on at one time?"B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."

Yeah, fair point, he wouldn't add to the number of cars on the road.Originally posted by Wolfracer View PostHow will Albannach buying another car add to the number of cars on the road?

However, I am a needy family, me, myself and I, and desperately need some cash to feed my family (who eat 35x12.50r18 tyres) So come on Albannach,
do the right thing and donate buddy. I will feel a lot better knowing you are so generous....

The £15k I have available for another car isn't that much money and even if it was; it's none of your business what I chose do with it.Originally posted by tashtego View Post15 grand is a lot of money, don't blow it on a Skoda or a Honda Accord (or any of the other cars for that matter). I don't particularly feel the need to change anyone's life, bar my own - that's why I'm spending £15k of MY money on ME.
I'm not putting any more cars on the road; if anything, I'll be taking one off the road. I only use one at a time and I'm not buying new. The number of vehicles I choose to have has absolutely fcuk all to do with you or anyone else.
There are many genuine families in my area; to be honest, I'm not sure what a fake one would look like.
I don't have to give a car or money away to drink, walk and feel great, I do all of them. As for charity, I give both time and money to the charities I support.
Essentially; don't come on here and pass judgement on me or my lifestyle without already knowing and understanding me. You can be as phillanthropic as you like, that's your choice - don't try to ram it down my throat.
So, unless you can come up with a sensible suggestion around which £15k car, with the specification mentioned earlier, I should be looking at - fcuk off.Last edited by Albannach; 25 June 2013, 18:31.Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's
