Thanks Nev, I appreciate the link and info.

I just need to decide if I can justify the cost of the genuine Toyota idler or if i'll just source it from Roughtrax. I persume roughtrax are selling the HYE idler after the email correspondence I received yesterday, they were a bit vague with the manufacturer so ill give them a call on monday to confirm

I have no intention of ever selling the surf so maybe the toyota part is worth it for the extra piece of mind

Here's a link to pics of the HYE parts. I think the HYE (if Roughtrax have them) would be ok as I am fairly sure they have Japanese bearings. Having said that I have never used one.
