It seems very dictatorial to just make a statement that some one has been deleted without any explanation to the members of the forum. I thought this was an open forum where members had the right to post and discuss matters relevent to the Surf. Do we now have censorship? Personally I found Elvz to be very helpful. I feel she should have the right to put her case before the members

I found Elvz OK most of the time, although the only time she made me bristle, was when she stated that there was no one on this forum with any technical electrical or mechanical knowlege (or words to that effect).
Right situation was,
She replied to a post in a way that caused some upset between members, I had a reported post e mail as well as 7 PM's complaining about the manner in which she replied & before you ask I am not going in to detail.
I then got a PM from Elvz asking for me to delete her off the forum, I replied to ask what the trouble was before I read the offending post. She replied to my PM still insisting I remove her from the forum, I have obliged to her request, thats all.
Agreed as others have said, her knowledge will be greatly missed, it was a great help to people on here, I myself have found it helpful in the past. So I have simply complied with her request & now its time to move on please.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.
