  • Advice needed: Selling vintage bottle of Whisky

    Hi guys,

I have a vintage bottle of Black & White whisky with a spring cap that I want to sell. Not got a clue where to start! Can anyone give me any advice on where to get a decent valuation & the best place/way to sell it??

Much as I would LOVE to just drink it, unfortunately it isn't mine!
It's only kinky the first time...

McTears do specialist whisky auctions, maybe call one of the Scottish whisky specialists - or a collector like Loch Fyne Whiskies.

Or you could try your luck on http://whiskyauction.com/ or http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/

Any idea what bottling it is?
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

        Thank you Albanach,

It's a bottle of Buchanan's Black & White with a spring cap. Seal intact etc. I think it's between 1930's-1950's, so approx £200-£400(ish).

I'll check out both of those links. Had a brief look at the Whisky Expert one yesterday but wasn't sure what exactly was out there!

        Much appreciated...
