I nicked the Surf to go to work today - 2WD there but 4WD on the way back as the A303 had a fair bit of snow in the Surf lane. Actually had to use the difflock at one point - needed it to reverse up the drive cos the lazy boot hadn't cleared the snow !

Walked to work, not bad on the way there, but just now I had to put my feet into snow mode. Seemed to work quite well.
Going to the Nags in a bit, might need my extra pair of feet engaged. Will definitely need them on the way home!Cutting steps in the roof of the world

I've been out working all day, I didn't die, crash, skid or anything dramatic really. I just drove slowly and engaged 4WD or Low Ratio for decents as and when required. I gave other lesser motorist priority, pulling over to let them by and left lots of room in case they accidentally got too close. I drove with caution and sensibility around other road users and pedestrians/sledgers...
I also blatted it sideways top gear drift stylee up some deserted roads

A message from the A9 to the M6,M5,M4 etc
Dear English motorways. I view your incompetence today, with mild bemusement. Throughout the year, despite my propensity for regularly killing people, I remain open. I remained open today whilst you...you softy, southern, shandy drinking excuse for roads, collapsed inward, like an imploding stellar highway.
I remained open, today, despite much precipitation falling on me. The local authority were voted in to, amongst other things, keep me gritted and ploughed. It's no excuse that your local authorities spent all the tax dollars on
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans gender, one legged nappy coordinators.
I remained open enough, to allow the writer of this post safe passage, across the side of a mountain range, during a blizzard. You saw three flakes and attracted the whole of the daily mail out for an exclusive.
Don't let it happen again
Regards
The A9Non intercooled nothing.
